Native code

A native mod is Rust code that the launcher compiles into a game of its own, the Native mods instance. It is not sandboxed: it can do anything you can on this computer. From a terminal or an agent

horizon-launcher mods install --source horizon xtoxray

In the launcher

Open Mods, pick Horizon beside Modrinth, find X To Xray and press Install. It checks the file's checksum and signature first.

By hand

Download xtoxray-2026.29.0.hnmod with the button above, check its SHA-256 against the one under File, and unzip it into a folder, then build the game with it: horizon-launcher native-build FOLDER --trust-native-code. It plays in the Native mods instance.
