It contains none of Simple Voice Chat's code: everything is written from scratch in Rust.

Live, against Paper 26.3 with the Simple Voice Chat 2.6.27 plugin, it authenticated and connected, a test tone was heard through the server, and groups and labels came from the server. Not tested yet: the menu in the real game, a real microphone, 2.7 servers, and talking with the Java mod itself.
A native mod is Rust code that the launcher compiles into a game of its own, the Native mods instance. It is not sandboxed: it can do anything you can on this computer. The launcher builds it only after a warning that names it, and a reviewer read its source before it was listed. Read the source yourself before you build it. How native mods work
