A native Horizon mod (built into the game by the launcher; native mods are not sandboxed, so read the source before you build it).
Cut one log of a natural tree with an axe and the whole tree comes down. Every log is broken through the game's ordinary mining path, so drops, statistics, hunger and axe wear are exactly as if you had chopped each log yourself.
/treefall on/off per player; LAN guests too.In the spirit of FallingTree; not affiliated, no code from it. Pinned to Horizon 142388e and horizon-mixins 0d6b103.
A native mod is Rust code that the launcher compiles into a game of its own, the Native mods instance. It is not sandboxed: it can do anything you can on this computer. The launcher builds it only after a warning that names it, and a reviewer read its source before it was listed. Read the source yourself before you build it. How native mods work

First registry release. A settings page in Options > Mods; the cut can take longer for bigger trees (and letting go cancels it, in single player too); trees come down from the top and leave a stump when the axe would wear out; replanting, drops at the stump, leaves and huge mushrooms are options.
