An item and recipe viewer for Horizon, the Rust reimplementation of Minecraft: Java Edition.
Horizon JEI is inspired by JustEnoughItems (JEI). JEI serves as the reference specification, while this project is a completely new Rust implementation built around Horizon's native hook points.
Version 0.1.0 — Core Viewer
"quoted phrases", -exclusions, | alternatives, @namespace, and #tag./jei give. In creative mode, left-click gives one item and right-click gives a full stack. In survival mode, clicking opens the recipe viewer instead./jei reports the game's recipe table sizes.The 0.1.0 release focuses on the core viewer. Bookmarks, container slot click integration, tooltips, creative inventory integration, non-recipe categories (anvil, grindstone, composter, and fuel), and shift-click recipe placement are not yet supported.
Some of these features require native hook points that Horizon does not currently expose. See the JEI parity matrix for implementation details.
Requires Horizon 26.3, hook points version 2, and the current Nightly build.
Horizon native mods are compiled directly into the game and are not sandboxed. Only build source code you trust.
Horizon JEI reads the game's tables, container interface, chat, and its own settings directory (horizon-mods/.horizon-mod-data/jei/). It does not write to any other location.

A native mod is Rust code that the launcher compiles into a game of its own, the Native mods instance. It is not sandboxed: it can do anything you can on this computer.
